STOP! What are you thankful for today?

It's raining, and cloudy. The house is messy. I've been to the dentist with Kayli. The car's battery might stop working at any moment. So, as I was thinking of these things I decided to stop and think-- what am I thankful for today? My bran flakes were tasty. Dan had a great time at the dentist. Kayli's chipped teeth are fixed and she is at school for a few hours. The van worked the whole time I was driving. Dan is napping. The rain will likely turn things more green. Tonya was home when I called. I have a library book, or even my own books I can read if I want. I have good family and friends. I can listen to music or play some. But for this moment, I'm thankful that it is quiet and I don't have to hurry to get anywhere. What about you?

I am thankful for Betty Crocker cake mixes at .50! That is my plug for the Smith's ad. But I also am thankful for warm homes when it is freezing outside. And I'm thankful for websites where I can create my own B-day party invitations for free. And I am thankful for fingers, because I read a book where a character didn't have any and wouldn't that make life hard?

Yes, I think it would. Really hard to type a blog or play an instrument!

Bran flakes can be tasty?!
I am thankful for health, especially since I am such a worrywart about illness.
I am also grateful for crock pots and nice people and yummy treats and riding bikes (though I don't really do it anymore).
Great pictures and additions to your blog. It's looking fancy!

Cannon's letting us sleep more in the night. For that I'm so grateful. Also having a baby in the house is a special thing. I'm thankful to be feeling better, all our family has been healthy, we have everything we need and some of our wants too. I am always sooo glad to be living in this time period--even though going to balls like in Pride and Prejudice would have been fun too--I'm so grateful for modern appliances and disposable diapers.

wow. there sure are a lot of good sales going on in UT these days. i am grateful that the grateful game works. for some reason dallin has been a little cranky this week (probably too much sweets and toys since it was his birthday) so i have been making him tell me ten good things and by the time he is done (it can take awhile) he is finally my sweet boy again!
