While Diana was in town Derek arranged to go hiking with his sisters Megan, and Erin, and some of "the cousins".

It turns out that when you live at around sea level and then come to Utah and hike a really tall mountain, it is hard on your system. Dallin had a hard time with the altitude and wasn't able to quite finish the hike -- though it sounds like he did most of it. He did not feel well and it took a while of being down from the mountain to recover. Jake stuck with him so he didn't make it to the summit either, but he did get some time with Dallin!
